spring's warm promise

oh the thought of being in a sundress with a warm breeze blowing gently against my cheek. spring in on its way, although i cannot feel it. there's proof in the buds coming up and new green growth hidden under the dead leaves. spring will keep its promise, we just have to have faith that once again we will be warm.

i heart you

love day is on its way. a time of chocolates, flowers and hearts. date to the movies, dinner for two. might i make each day a love day? i hope so. may we all!

fancy a cup of tea?

Sat down to a cozy steaming cup of tea with a spoonful or two of agave syrup and a splash of cream. Reminded me of all the cups I drank in England accompanied by scones, clotted cream and fresh strawberry jam. Wish I could go back and ride the trains and tour the castles and picnic on the steep hills. Funny how such a small thing as a simple taste or a smell can bring back so many memories.
